FAQs

Can WaterShed drainage wrap be used under stucco?

Yes, Watershed is perfectly designed for stucco, brick, stone veneer, EIFS, vertical, and specialty siding. Our multi-directional CLAF® mesh, laminated on the surface of the Perma “R” WaterShed line, makes them a superior moisture barrier, engineered to channel bulk water away from wall systems and drain safely to the outside. Keep in mind when applying, some localities require 2 layers of House Wrap under Stucco.

What fasteners are recommended when installing Perma “R” house wraps?

When installing house wrap, it is recommended to use 1 in. plastic or metal cap fasteners. Plastic cap nails are best, as they create a more airtight seal compared to staples.
