Halo® Interra® foam board insulation is designed for both above- and below-grade interior applications. Its core GPS foam and reflective laminate provides a permanent R-Value of R-5 per nominal inch with continuous insulation benefits when taping the seams. Interra is suitable for use on the interior side of roofs, ceilings, exterior above-grade walls, above slabs, and foundation walls. It replaces the air vapor barrier while offering high thermal resistance, impermeability to air and vapor, and prevention of moisture buildup on basement walls. Additionally, any penetrations made in the Interra membrane when fastening it should also be taped.
