For more than 40 years, Perma “R” has been specializing in the production of EPS rigid foam products for various aspects of the construction industry. PolyPro™ rigid, closed-cell, expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS), provides a PERMANENT, stable, thermal performance of R 3.85 per inch. With the lowest cost R-value per inch, EPS is the most economical of the rigid foam insulation panel types. PolyPro is available with either factory laminated poly/poly, metallic reflective/poly, or unfaced options. As an added feature for regions with high termite infestation zone, PolyPro can be treated with Preventol® insecticide, an environmentally safe additive.

What fasteners are recommended to install PolyPro to wood studs?
Fasteners should penetrate at least 3/4” into the framing studs or blocking between studs. i.e. –
- For 1/2” or 5/8” thickness: Minimum fastener length is 1 3/8”
- For 1” thickness: Minimum fastener length is 1 3/4”
What adhesive is recommended to use to adhere PolyPro to concrete walls?
To adhere PolyPro to concrete walls, Perma “R” Products recommends using PL300 Foam Board Adhesive by Loctite. This adhesive is compatible with EPS and provides high bonding strength once cured.
Is Preventol® insecticide environmental safe?
Preventol® insecticide, an environmentally safe additive.
Does Preventol® insecticide kill termites?
Yes, termites can tunnel through and ingest foam in their search for a food source. PolyPro™ with Preventol® kills these termites and provides a secondary line of defense to standard termite treatments. Ask for PolyPro™ if you live in a high termite infestation zone.
